versatile designer specializing in Experiential design, visualization, and Digital fabrication
Valerie Tse is an architectural designer, fabricator, and researcher based in San Francisco. She earned her Master of Architecture and Integrated Product Design from the University of Pennsylvania in 2024, and currently serves as Job Captain at Bull Stockwell Allen, where she leads large-scale hospitality and urban planning projects across the Bay Area.
Her career spans prominent firms including Gensler, Aedas, Futureforms, and PennPraxis, with a portfolio ranging from technology campuses in China to parametric public art installations in California. Valerie's practice sits at the intersection of material and virtual worlds; using digital technologies, 3D fabrication, and interdisciplinary thinking to develop narratives that provoke new attitudes toward the built environment. Her work has been exhibited and published by Pressing Matters, Weitzman Architecture, UC Berkeley CED, and HKU Faculty of Architecture. She is a first-place winner of the Wharton Baker Retailing Center Ideathon and a recipient of the Warren Powers Laird Award and the Weitzman School of Design Scholarship. Outside the studio, she's usually backpacking, snowboarding, or hunting down a great restaurant.
